Located 9 km from the city, the Zaragoza airport has led to the city’s position as the Ebro Valley’s strategic centre of goods, cargo and passengers. The Spanish railway company RENFE offers many train connections to Zaragoza. Depending on the timetable, you can take the AVE (Spanish high speed train, travel time from Madrid of 1 hr. 15 min. and from Barcelona 1 hr. 20 min.)

The Delicias intermodal coach station is located next to the railway station.

Zaragoza has an excellent road infrastructure including: the North Spain motorway network which connects with Bilbao and Barcelona; the Autovía de Aragón, which connects it with Madrid; and the future Somport-Sagunto Autovía, which is already in operation in some areas and will connect Zaragoza with Valencia and the French network via the Aragon Pyrenees.
