(Zaragoza, Thursday, May 8, 2025). The final of the 11th Edition of the Crystallization in Schools Contest in Aragon will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the University Sports Pavilion. The contest is organized by the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Education of the University of Zaragoza, the Institute of Chemical Synthesis and Homogeneous Catalysis (ISQCH), the University Institute for Environmental Sciences of Aragon (IUCA), and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

9:00–10:00 AM: Registration and setup of each team’s displays (University Sports Pavilion, San Francisco Campus)

10:00–12:30 PM: Evaluation of the projects

12:30–1:00 PM: Jury deliberation and dismantling of displays

1:30–2:15 PM: Awards ceremony (Aula Magna, Faculty of Science)
This project runs throughout the academic year and involves schools from across Aragon. This year’s edition includes the participation of 40 schools from Alcañiz, Almudévar, Andorra, Ateca, Ayerbe, Binéfar, Borja, Calatayud, Cariñena, Casetas, Caspe, Ejea de los Caballeros, Épila, Huesca, La Muela, Maella, María de Huerva, Sabiñánigo, Sariñena, Valderrobres, Villanueva de Gállego, and Zaragoza—bringing together more than 70 teachers and 1,250 students.
The awards ceremony will be attended by representatives of the organizing institutions: University of Zaragoza, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Faculties of Science and Education, Institute for Environmental Sciences of Aragon (IUCA), and Institute of Chemical Synthesis and Homogeneous Catalysis (ISQCH).
