Public Hearing Participation – Periodic Evaluation of the Aragon Institute for Environmental Sciences Research (IUCA)

Zaragoza, Tuesday, June 3, 2025. The Aragon Agency for Quality Assurance and Strategic Foresight in Higher Education (ACPUA) is responsible for the periodic evaluation of the University of Zaragoza’s Research Institutes, within the framework of its University Research Institutes (IUIs) Evaluation Program. As part of this process, a virtual site visit is conducted to gather feedback from various stakeholders, including research staff, administrative and service personnel, among others. These individuals are selected by the institute itself.

The evaluation schedule includes an open session known as a “Public Hearing”, which is specifically intended for all IUCA staff. This session guarantees the right of any interested individual to share their views with the visiting panel, especially if they were not selected for a formal interview by the institute. The role of the expert panel during this session is passive, focusing solely on listening and taking note of any opinions shared by attendees.

The public hearing will take place on July 8, 2025, from 13:15 to 13:45.

Those interested in participating must send an email to audiencias.acpua@aragon.es before June 30, including their full name, national ID number, and contact details (email and mobile phone). A Zoom link for the session will be sent in due course.
