5 February – 13 March 2013 EXHIBITION «LOS FÓSILES DE MURERO».

As part of the events of 150. Anniversary of the discovery of the Cambrian fossil site Murero (Field Daroca, Zaragoza), the Association of Geologists of Aragon (ICOG), with the collaboration of the University Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (IUCA), has its headquarters in Zaragoza paseo de Rosales nº  26 (Local 7) (rear of the National Police Station) the exhibition «Murero fossils». The deposit of Murero is one of the world’s most important for understanding the Cambrian, the first period of the Paleozoic Era or Primary, in the fundamental changes that occurred in the life on the planet such as the establishment of modern type ecosystems. This sample could be seen in the town of Zaragoza namesake from November to December 2012.

During that period, they will also see next 15th of February, at 19. 00 h. the projection of informative documentary of 30 ‘in length, «In the Footsteps of primitive life (Cambrian Period)», produced in 2009 by the research team of «Project Murero»
