Directed by David Badia, IUCA member and professor at the University of Zaragoza. From 26 to 28 September in the School of Engineering, Campus of Huesca, the International University Menéndez Pelayo teach the course Wildfires: environmental effects and restoration measures.

Objectives: the course will present techniques and tools for forest fire prevention and intervention strategies in areas already burned. We will analyze the effects of fire on the environment, with special emphasis on soil properties and components.
