Researchers run the VI IUCA archaeological Valdeherrera Campaign

Yesterday, August 1st, began the VI archaeological campaign in the Celtiberian city of Valdeherrera. The team, led by professors Manuel Martín-Bueno and Carlos Saenz Preciado, researchers of the Environmental Sciences Institute (IUCA), consists of 20 people (graduates and students, anthropologists and restorers).

Valdeherrera was destroyed during the Sertorian wars and  began to be excavated in the years 2007, after several years of prospecting and geophysical surveys.
